Martin Quade

Martin Quade is relatively new to the Danish art scene. This website will display his work from inside as well as outside of Denmark. Martin is from the small town of Herning and after years of living abroad, including London as a graphic designer and textile designer. He has drawn inspiration in the international urban environment with the vast variety of music, fashion and globalsim. “I love the contrasts in life. Good & bad, Ugly & butyful, etc. -The mix is ??the driving force and inspiration for new combinations”, says Martin Quade about his pictures. As an artist, he is also fascinated by the old superheroes. -They have always been real men to save the whole world. But that doesn’t change the fact that Mickey Mouse himself can also appear on his pictures. FACTS about Martin Quade: Born in Cambodia, Phnom Penn and Adopted and raised in Herning in an art-interested environment. Educated graphic designer, product developer and textile designer. Educated painting and drawing 1991, croquis drawing 1992 and portrait painting 2009. Nine separate exhibitions in 2008-2017.
